Springbrook Cyclone Debbie Clean-up

In 2017 Cyclone Debbie was one of the deadliest storms to hit the South East Coast of Australia in recent times. Because of the huge rain dump trees were down and there were landslides everywhere with full-on, big slips.

PowerClear performed an array of emergency and civil work during this time. Their vegetation and machine crews quickly cleared Springbrook Road to allow access for emergency vehicles. PowerClear’s height access crews then cleaned up all the slips and scaled rocks before clearing and trimming batters with their 20 to 30-ton excavators.
